I am a Paediatric Nurse Specialist with an interest in Emergency and Gastroenterology care. I am also the co-founder of the Paediatric Gut Investigation Clinic.
Unfortunately, like many of us, I suffer from IBS and understand the frustration that parents and other adults experience when trying to find the right food to eat, as well as feeling isolated and not being able to eat the simplest food like a bar of chocolate.
I was inspired to create this brand through the necessity of parents wanting to source a brand that caters for people with food intolerances, allergies or that contains a low amount of sugar.
The products are suitable for those who suffer from hereditary fructose intolerance (HFI) or fructose malabsorption, lactose malabsorption, and gluten sensitivity.
The thought of a child or anyone not being able to enjoy everyday snacks and meals motivated me to peruse this journey and create a successful partnership with Frusano. Mealtimes are an important social aspect of our lives and well-being, something everyone should enjoy and not feel excluded from.
At the Paediatric Gut Investigation Clinic (PGIC), we see and treat children of all ages with various intolerance and know the impact it has on a child’s well-being and happiness and their parents too. It is the greatest pleasure to be able to follow it through.
I am so fortunate to be able to care for sick and unwell children in my clinic but I’m now even happier knowing that I can extend that to a wider population.
